DESCRIPTION:Sharpening School Evaluation – delivered by Dr Julia Coop in partnership with HEP\nThis is the final of a four-day course. \nIntended for senior leaders of primary schools\, this revised and practical\, up to the minute\, four-day course\, enables delegates to look at their school through the eyes of an inspector.  \nThroughout the four days\, delegates will: \n\nFollow a case study\, in order to gain a thorough understanding of the EIF\nDevelop ‘deep dive’ monitoring skills and sharpen self-evaluation\n\nThe course will also:  \n\nAugment individual professional development\nUnlock potential\nSupport whole-school improvement\n\nAt the same time\, the course provides an ideal foundation for delegates to hone their skills when participating in HEP peer reviews. \nDates: \nThe course will be run in two blocks of two days from 9am – 3:30pm\, venue  – Grasshoppers RFC \n\nDay 1 – Tuesday 8th March– Setting the scene: Top Level View\nDay 2 – Wednesday 9th March – Developing Skills: Quality of Education\nDay 3 – Monday 21st March – Developing skills: Quality of Education/wider outcomes\nDay 4 – Tuesday 22nd March – EYFS: From Evaluation to SDP\n\nFull details can be found here.

SUMMARY:14 - 25 Strategic Group
DESCRIPTION:The 14-25 Strategic Group is facilitated by the LBH 14-19 Team and chaired by a senior leader from one of the member organisations. These termly meetings provide a strategic forum within which matters that relate to and impact upon the broad spectrum of learners and learning provision in Hounslow can be considered.  Membership covers key stakeholders across all 14-25 learning and provision. \nThe purpose of the meetings are to: \n\nProvide strategic leadership on the 14 to 25 agenda and advocate change beneficial to all young people in Hounslow\nPromote collaboration across providers with the aim of offering a comprehensive and coherent set of qualifications and learning experiences for Hounslow’s young people\nConsider the impact of National\, Pan-London\, sub-regional and local policy initiatives on local provision by:\n\nSharing updates/implications of key priorities from different provision perspectives within the wider group\nInviting representatives from key influencing bodies/partnerships to provide inputs at meetings as appropriate\nResponding collectively to relevant consultations\n\n\nIdentify external funding and resource opportunities which could add value to the Hounslow provision offer and to agree the processes for securing and (where successful) allocating and managing resources\nAdvocate for high quality careers education and impartial advice and guidance in line with DFE policy in order to support students’ career and learning choices
