DESCRIPTION:The work of the Fair Access Panel (FAP) is to ensure that – outside the normal admissions round – unplaced children\, especially the most vulnerable\, are found and offered a place quickly\, so that the amount of time any child is out of school is kept to the minimum. \nThe work of the Fair Access Panel is overseen by a Senior LA officer (Head of School Organisation and Inclusion). \nSchools are represented on a half-termly basis by the school’s partnership - Primary Head x 2\, Secondary Head x 2 \nThe meeting will be chaired by the Local Authorities Inclusion Manager and the Vice Chair will be the Director of the Hounslow Education Partnership.

SUMMARY:Cross Phase Vulnerable Students and SEND Group
DESCRIPTION:The Vulnerable Students and SEND Group (VSSG) is set up to deliver a more strategic and coherent  approach to supporting vulnerable students and to ensure ongoing improvement in SEND working  between the LA and Hounslow Schools. \nThe VSSG will work in close partnership with the LA to the benefit of all member schools\, high needs funding spending and VSSG membership funding. Communication between the Group and  wider LA teams will be through their representatives. \nThere will be five meetings held annually\, spread across the three terms. Smaller working groups may be  identified to pick up on particular streams of development work. \nThe purpose of the meetings: \n\nDevelop and quality assure and review for member schools the service offers or commissioned  work eg.
