DESCRIPTION:The Vulnerable Students and SEND Group (VSSG) is set up to deliver a more strategic and coherent approach to supporting vulnerable students\, and to ensure ongoing improvement in SEND working between the LA and Hounslow Schools. \nThe group's key focus will be to have strategic oversight to identify key risk factors that impact the children and young people of Hounslow\, supported by a series of working groups to achieve the best outcomes for member schools relating to the following themes:  \n\nCrime relating to schools\nTransition\nFair Access/managed moves/exclusions/alternative provision\nBuilding stronger partnership and ways of working with the LA SEND teams\nImproved outcomes for Special Schools working as HEP members\nBuilding the school-to-school offer\nRaising awareness of the local offer\nSEND action plan and recovery\n\nThere will be three meetings held annually\, spread across the three terms. Working groups across Primary\, Secondary and SEND will be formed to drive forward particular streams of development work. \nThe purpose of the meetings: \n\nSetting the groups strategic priorities for social vulnerability and SEND\nAgreeing specific target outcomes\nDirecting the focus of the specific working groups\nConsider feedback from member schools on their needs in order to investigate further potential service developments

These termly meetings provide a strategic forum within which matters that relate to and impact upon the broad spectrum of learners and learning provision in Hounslow can be considered.  Membership covers key stakeholders across all 14-25 learning and provision. \nThe purpose of the meetings are to: \n\nProvide strategic leadership on the 14 to 25 agenda and advocate change beneficial to all young people in Hounslow\nPromote collaboration across providers with the aim of offering a comprehensive and coherent set of qualifications and learning experiences for Hounslow’s young people\nConsider the impact of National\, Pan-London\, sub-regional and local policy initiatives on local provision by:\n\nSharing updates/implications of key priorities from different provision perspectives within the wider group\nInviting representatives from key influencing bodies/partnerships to provide inputs at meetings as appropriate\nResponding collectively to relevant consultations\n\n\nIdentify external funding and resource opportunities which could add value to the Hounslow provision offer and to agree the processes for securing and (where successful) allocating and managing resources\nAdvocate for high quality careers education and impartial advice and guidance in line with DFE policy in order to support students’ career and learning choices

DESCRIPTION:The Vulnerable Students and SEND Group (VSSG) is set up to deliver a more strategic and coherent approach to supporting vulnerable students\, and to ensure ongoing improvement in SEND working between the LA and Hounslow Schools. \nThe group's key focus will be to have strategic oversight to identify key risk factors that impact the children and young people of Hounslow\, supported by a series of working groups to achieve the best outcomes for member schools relating to the following themes:  \n\nCrime relating to schools\nTransition\nFair Access/managed moves/exclusions/alternative provision\nBuilding stronger partnership and ways of working with the LA SEND teams\nImproved outcomes for Special Schools working as HEP members\nBuilding the school-to-school offer\nRaising awareness of the local offer\nSEND action plan and recovery\n\nThere will be three meetings held annually\, spread across the three terms. Working groups across Primary\, Secondary and SEND will be formed to drive forward particular streams of development work. \nThe purpose of the meetings: \n\nSetting the groups strategic priorities for social vulnerability and SEND\nAgreeing specific target outcomes\nDirecting the focus of the specific working groups\nConsider feedback from member schools on their needs in order to investigate further potential service developments

DESCRIPTION:The School Led Improvement Group for Primary pupils aims to deliver a strategic and coherent approach to school-led improvement for member schools. \nThe Primary Group (SLIPs) works in partnership with the LA and meets a number of the LA’s school improvement responsibilities through this school-led model. It provides oversight and direction for the Hounslow school improvement strategy and maintains an overview of school performance via Peer Challenge\, including for schools causing concern. \nThere will be six committee meetings held annually\, spread across the three terms. \nThe purpose of the meetings are to: \n\nReview the progress and outcomes of all schools and confirm a borough-wide picture of quality and standards\nReview strengths and vulnerabilities\nSet and review the Hounslow Primary Performance Challenge\nReview action plans for schools causing concern and recommendations for LA interventions\nReview school to school support and joint practice development opportunities\nReview and discuss priorities for the LA and to agree the support to be commissioned or brokered for schools.

DESCRIPTION:The 14-25 Strategic Group is facilitated by the LBH 14-19 Team and chaired by a senior leader from one of the member organisations. These termly meetings provide a strategic forum within which matters that relate to and impact upon the broad spectrum of learners and learning provision in Hounslow can be considered.  Membership covers key stakeholders across all 14-25 learning and provision. \nThe purpose of the meetings are to: \n\nProvide strategic leadership on the 14 to 25 agenda and advocate change beneficial to all young people in Hounslow\nPromote collaboration across providers with the aim of offering a comprehensive and coherent set of qualifications and learning experiences for Hounslow’s young people\nConsider the impact of National\, Pan-London\, sub-regional and local policy initiatives on local provision by:\n\nSharing updates/implications of key priorities from different provision perspectives within the wider group\nInviting representatives from key influencing bodies/partnerships to provide inputs at meetings as appropriate\nResponding collectively to relevant consultations\n\n\nIdentify external funding and resource opportunities which could add value to the Hounslow provision offer and to agree the processes for securing and (where successful) allocating and managing resources\nAdvocate for high quality careers education and impartial advice and guidance in line with DFE policy in order to support students’ career and learning choices
