DESCRIPTION:Hounslow School Leadership Cluster Programme 2021/22\nLed by Dr John Yates\nThis is the third of six online webinars. \nThis online session will be 3.5 hours in length and available to view during a three-week window from – \nTuesday 8th February until Tuesday 1st March 2022 \nThe 2021/22 programme\nThe six-session cluster leadership programme for the senior teams of Hounslow primary schools has been very well received for the decade in which it has been running.\n \nThe 2021/22 programme will build on the work done last year. In addition to keeping participants up-to-date with key national developments\, the focus will be on ensuring schools make the most of this rare opportunity to take the initiative and prioritise the developments which the profession know to be right as we prepare children not only for the next phase of education but also for life in an increasingly challenging world. \nThe developments include: \n\nbuilding a curriculum that will equip children for life\nbecoming an even stronger values-led school\ntaking the personal development of pupils to a deeper level\nshaping teaching and learning in readiness for the future\nmaximising the job satisfaction and fulfilment of the workforce\n\nIn addition\, the ongoing focus on strengthening school-wide leadership\, school /Trust-wide teamwork and partnership working will remain a priority. \nFull details can be found here.

SUMMARY:Secondary Subject Networks
DESCRIPTION:Introduction: \nSubject Networks have been established to assist the development of subject teaching in Hounslow Education Partnership (HEP) Secondary Schools whilst supporting the CPD of middle leaders.  In 2021-22 Subject Networks will continue to be supported by the London Borough of Hounslow (LBH) 14-19 service team (Nina Johal) and HEP (Emma Pett).  \nPurpose: \nTo facilitate the development of high quality subject teaching across HEP Secondary Schools.  \nObjectives: \n\nTo develop professional relationships between colleagues from different schools which facilitates ongoing peer support (i.e. outside the formal meeting structure);\nTo support Subject Leads/Heads of Department/Curriculum Leads (SLs) in keeping up to date with emerging policy and consider with their subject colleagues the implications for strategy and practice;\nTo facilitate sharing and development of good practice related to subject teaching\, learning and assessment;\nTo provide a mechanism for efficient and effective consultation and information flow between SLs and HEP.
