SUMMARY:Develop Your A Level Teaching
DESCRIPTION:Develop your A level teaching is a forum for Hounslow teachers and leaders with a passion and responsibility for excellent provision at post-16 to share their expertise and champion best practice in their subject. This programme is driven by a shared acknowledgement of historic underachievement at post-16 across the borough\, despite impressive performance at KS4. \nThis is a HEP-wide programme of high quality training that is based on current and relevant educational theory and research\, supporting the in-school CPD offer. \nHEP schools\, with or without a sixth form\, can opt into this collaborative programme\, nominating teachers with any level of experience to attend. \n\nThree meetings are held throughout the year\, each consisting of a keynote followed by subject breakout groups\nKeynote presenters and subject group facilitators are expert practitioners suggested by SLTL from within HEP schools\nBreakout groups where colleagues discuss the implications specific to their students\nThe themes and content for each year are decided by the working group of HEP Deputy Heads from SLTL\nSubjects offered: Maths\, English\, Biology\, Chemistry\, Physics\, Geography\, History\, Economics\, French\, Spanish\, Politics\n\nFor further details\, please contact e.pett@hounsloweducationpartnership.co.uk

DESCRIPTION:High Performance Leadership Programme 2023/24\nLed by Andy Hind\nSession 1 \nProgramme overview\nA high-impact leadership programme that focuses on how senior leaders create a culture of continuous improvement by designing and implementing rigorous systems and\nprocesses that increase capacity. This programme will support senior leaders in developing a collective knowledge and understanding around: \n\nthe 4 main influences on the success of any school\nthe features of an outstanding leadership team\nessential leadership practices for success\na range of leadership tools for embedding a strong professional culture\nhow to measure impact of what matters\nand many more key issues around future school improvement\n\nThe Cost and how to book\nThere are 80 places available and will be allocated on a first come\, first served basis. \nSchools will be charged as follows: \n\n£125 per delegate per session (6 x £125 = £750 per delegate)\n\nOnce booking is complete\, each school will be invoiced and asked to pay\, in full\, before session one in February. Unfortunately no refunds are available. \nThe morning sessions will be led by Andy Hind at the Lensbury Conference Centre in Teddington and will start promptly at 9.00am and finish at 12.30pm with lunch.  \nThe afternoon will be facilitated by Andy offering uninterrupted quality time for reflection and planning in school teams at the venue.  \nFull details can be found here \nContact c.bourne@hounsloweducationpartnership.co.uk
