This survey is for all Subject Network Leads for 2020/21.

Secondary Subject Network Leads Survey – June 2021

Secondary Subject Networks are annually reviewed in order to evaluate the programme for this year and look ahead to planning for the next academic year. Thank you for leading your network this year; they are well established hubs of best practice-sharing, and demonstrate partnership working at its best. HEP is looking forward to your ideas to further develop and grow these networks.

Attendance at all of my meetings was high, and apologies were sent when colleagues couldn’t attend.
Members’ engagement within meetings is high, contributing ideas and sharing best practice.
Members contribute to the direction of the meetings by adding agenda items or suggestions for discussion.
Members communicate with each other outside of calendared meetings to seek clarification or ask questions.
I have organised high quality and effective outside speakers or extra opportunities beyond the three calendared meetings for the members of my network.
I feel supported in delivering my network by my in-school SLTL representative.

What our members say

Meet the Expert – Art Workshop – "Good delivery and alternative resource options provided. There were clear explanations and questions to ask children were also provided."

Middle Leader Training – "Very inspiring leaders who answered all questions without making you feel at all silly. Loved it."

Deep Dive Subject Leader Training – "I so enjoyed the course. It made me realise how much I have to do in History, but so reassuring to have someone who knows what he is talking about!"

Develop your A Level Teaching – "Collaboration is a huge part of this project; CPD and teacher training works best when you’re doing it alongside colleagues. The 4 HEP principles make it clear to teachers what the bare bones of an excellent lesson look like."
