DESCRIPTION:  \n \nThe National Year of Reading Conference 2026\nThis is in support of the DfE’s announcement of The National Year of Reading starting on 1st January 2026 with the ‘Go All In’ campaign launched by the National Literacy Trust. \nBook here and be part of an inspirational day.\nThe date and time\nWednesday 11th March 2024\, 9am-4:30pm \nAimed at:\n\neveryone working in a Hounslow school across EYFS\, KS1\, 2\, 3 and SEND\nTeachers\, LSAs\, TAs\, SENDCos\, librarians\, subject leaders and senior leaders\n\nCost and what's included\n£50 per ticket – Take advantage of the Early bird offer and reserve your ticket for £30 until 19th December 2025. \nTickets will include refreshments and lunch \nOnce booking is complete\, each school will be invoiced for payment. \nThe venue\nSt Mary's University\, Waldegrave Rd\, Twickenham TW1 4SX \nThe event\nAdmission strictly by ticket only. \nWe will work closely with ambassadors to design and deliver the day which will include: \n\nkeynotes from Charlotte Raby and special guest speakers\nHounslow Library Service\, Wandle English Hub\, Collins and Oxford University Press\nthe return of our popular blind-date-with-a-book swap\nworkshops designed and run by GHR Ambassadors and St Mary's University colleagues\nThe Alligator's Mouth Bookshop\nopportunities for delegates to network and share practice\na marketplace for displaying and sharing practice and resources\n\nIf you'd like more information\, please contact Nikola Standing – n.standing@hounsloweducationpartnership.co.uk
