The Secondary Leaders of Teaching and Learning (SLTL) group provides a forum to:

develop professional relationships between colleagues from different schools facilitating ongoing peer support
discuss the impact of, and responses to, emerging challenges specifically related to teaching and learning (e.g. assessment, targets, QA, recruitment and retention)
facilitate sharing and development of good practice specifically related to teaching and learning (e.g. within school improvement, curriculum development and design, assessment)
develop an efficient and effective consultation and information flow between SLTL, their schools and HEP on programmes such as Subject Networks (SN) and Post-16 Pedagogy in Practice (PPP), which in turn supports middle leaders’ CPD
identify new areas of need; using that to both refine existing programmes and design and develop new initiatives.
