SixIntoSeven is a secure digital transition platform used by Hounslow schools to support the transfer of pupil information from primary to secondary school and forms part of the HEP offer.
The platform enables schools to exchange important safeguarding, SEND and contextual information in a consistent and timely way. This helps receiving secondary schools build a fuller picture of their incoming Year 7 cohort and put appropriate support in place before pupils arrive.
Through SixIntoSeven, schools can:
- identify pupils who may require additional transition support
- securely share safeguarding, SEND and contextual information
- highlight important needs, risks and vulnerabilities
- improve communication between primary and secondary colleagues
- support earlier planning and intervention
- access cohort-level information through the Transition Watchlist
SixIntoSeven complements professional conversations between schools, including those held through HEP’s annual DSL Handover Meeting. It is designed to strengthen, rather than replace, direct communication between the professionals who know pupils best.
