HEP is delighted to launch another joint practice development funded programme as part of it's ongoing commitment to delivering excellence for all the children and young people of Hounslow.

Following Charlotte Raby’s ‘Get Hounslow Reading’ presentation to Headteachers, HEP is inviting members to register their school’s interest to get involved with this exciting new project.

A ‘kick-off’ meeting for Headteachers and senior leaders has been scheduled for Wednesday 19th May, 2-3pm.

This will be an opportunity to:

  • Identify Reading for Pleasure (RfP) teachers in participating schools
  • Provide an outline for the summer term workshops
  • Decide on dates for the summer term workshops in June

Please take a look at the following websites, particularly Just Imagine, popular for curating sets of new publications. HEP will provide more details about this in the coming weeks.

What our members say

Meet the Expert – Art Workshop – "Good delivery and alternative resource options provided. There were clear explanations and questions to ask children were also provided."

Middle Leader Training – "Very inspiring leaders who answered all questions without making you feel at all silly. Loved it."

Deep Dive Subject Leader Training – "I so enjoyed the course. It made me realise how much I have to do in History, but so reassuring to have someone who knows what he is talking about!"

Develop your A Level Teaching – "Collaboration is a huge part of this project; CPD and teacher training works best when you’re doing it alongside colleagues. The 4 HEP principles make it clear to teachers what the bare bones of an excellent lesson look like."
