Develop your A level teaching 2021/22 will be based around the themes of:
Academic reading, writing and speaking
Stretching the most able; what does academic excellence look like?
All meetings will run remotely from 2.30-4.30pm.
Wednesday 10th November 2021 Wednesday 12th January 2022 Wednesday 2nd March 2022
Delegates will be provided with pre-reading and an agenda for their subject breakout meeting ahead of time in order that they can prepare their contributions. The expectation is that all attending will collaborate, enthuse and challenge one another to generate and refine novel approaches to teaching their subject.
All details and meeting joining instructions will be published here on a meeting by meeting basis and communicated via email. Following each meeting the link will be posted to the keynote presentation on the HEP youtube channel.
Meet the Expert – Art Workshop – "Good delivery and alternative resource options provided. There were clear explanations and questions to ask children were also provided."
Middle Leader Training – "Very inspiring leaders who answered all questions without making you feel at all silly. Loved it."
Deep Dive Subject Leader Training – "I so enjoyed the course. It made me realise how much I have to do in History, but so reassuring to have someone who knows what he is talking about!"
Develop your A Level Teaching – "Collaboration is a huge part of this project; CPD and teacher training works best when you’re doing it alongside colleagues. The 4 HEP principles make it clear to teachers what the bare bones of an excellent lesson look like."
The success of the Hounslow Education Partnership depends, in part, on good communication so please do get in touch to give us your feedback or about anything else you would like to discuss.
