Post-16 Pedagogy in Practice is the next evolution of the DAT programme, familiar to HEP schools, with this updated aim:
‘To evolve teaching and learning at A level by providing a structured forum for sharing best practice, thus generating a network of teachers who feel empowered and enthused to challenge and learn from one another.’
Research - a new theme each year, anchored by relevant theory, planned by the SLT working group from HEP schools
Collaborate - meet three times across the autumn and spring terms with like minded colleagues, across the experience spectrum, creating a sustainable and supportive network
Refine - implement the strategies discussed in the classroom and reflect on improvements in subsequent meetings to refine practice
Aimed at teachers across the experience spectrum
