Free online training offer to all HEP secondary schools –

HEP is pleased to offer three sessions dedicated to A Level Maths training this summer term.

Sessions 1 and 2 are intended for all Maths teachers who already or are aspiring to teach A Level Maths.

Session 3 is for Maths Heads of Department or Maths KS5 Leaders.

This bespoke Maths training has been designed to improve subject knowledge and pedagogy of specific topics as identified by Heads of Department. In comparison to impressive KS4 results in Maths across HEP schools, there is an identified need to improve outcomes at A Level.

What our members say

Meet the Expert – Art Workshop – "Good delivery and alternative resource options provided. There were clear explanations and questions to ask children were also provided."

Middle Leader Training – "Very inspiring leaders who answered all questions without making you feel at all silly. Loved it."

Deep Dive Subject Leader Training – "I so enjoyed the course. It made me realise how much I have to do in History, but so reassuring to have someone who knows what he is talking about!"

Develop your A Level Teaching – "Collaboration is a huge part of this project; CPD and teacher training works best when you’re doing it alongside colleagues. The 4 HEP principles make it clear to teachers what the bare bones of an excellent lesson look like."
