To start this autumn, apply by 12th September 2021 – 

HEP is pleased to share the following information from the Green School Trust – 

The Green School Trust has partnered with Best Practice Network to deliver the full range of National Professional Qualifications through the Outstanding Leader Programme. 

The newly reformed suite of NPQs are:

NPQ Application Deadline – Autumn 2021 Start

The application deadline for our Autumn intake of NPQs is Sunday 12th September

DfE Scholarships

Colleagues working in state-maintained schools and academies that fall within the top 30th percentile in relation Pupil Premium can access any of the NPQs fully funded by a DfE scholarship.

There are a number of Schools within Hounslow Borough in this category.

Alternative Funding

*The National Professional Qualification for Leading Teacher Development is available to all interested colleagues in maintained schools or academies, irrespective of PP numbers. 

** The National Professional Qualification for Headship is free to access & complete for headteachers in maintained schools and academies and within their first two years of headship.

 Apprenticeships routes to NPQ

Best Practice also offers Apprenticeship funded routes to NPQ,  providing participants with a full NPQ along with extra leadership training and additional support of a Level 5 or 7 apprenticeship. 

The funding comes from existing Apprenticeship Levy funds or government co-investment .
